Pressure Atlas is now live

Pressure Atlas is now live.

Each UTC day, Pressure Atlas publishes one Pressure reading for current conditions across the global macro environment.

The reading uses five levels: expanding, releasing, equilibrium, building, and compressing.

Nothing here is a prediction or a recommendation.

Think of Pressure Atlas like a barometer

A barometer measures atmospheric pressure. Pressure Atlas measures Pressure across the global macro environment.

Rising and falling atmospheric pressure describe changes in the atmosphere, including periods when pressure builds and releases. Pressure uses a similar frame to describe changes in macro conditions.

The reading describes whether current conditions are expanding, releasing, in equilibrium, building, or compressing. It turns those conditions into a consistent measurement that can be tracked over time.

Like atmospheric pressure, the reading can also become an input to a larger model. Other systems can combine Pressure with their own data and determine whether changes in the reading add useful information for their particular purpose.

Pressure Atlas does not make that determination. It measures and publishes Pressure.

Five levels describe current conditions

Pressure is expressed through five levels:

Each level describes measured conditions at a point in time. It does not say how long those conditions will last or what will follow them.

One measurement, many contexts

Pressure can be used as one input among many.

A research system might place it beside its own observations. A business model might test whether the reading adds information to an existing process. An AI agent might retrieve Pressure as one structured input among other data.

Pressure Atlas does not decide how the reading should be interpreted in those systems. It publishes the measurement.

The same reading for people and AI agents

People can view Pressure directly through Pressure Atlas.

AI agents can retrieve the same reading through the Model Context Protocol. This provides a structured way for other systems to incorporate the measurement without changing what Pressure represents.

The human-facing and agent-facing reading is the same measurement of the same conditions.

A daily record of Pressure

Each UTC day adds another Pressure reading to the record.

Over time, those readings provide a consistent history of how measured conditions have changed across the global macro environment.

The purpose is simple: measure current Pressure, record it consistently, and make the reading available for people and systems to use as one input among many.
